	The Technical and Public Practice Committee of the Malaysian Institute of Taxation is by far one of the salient pillars of the entire MIT. The Committee or better known as the T&PPC has the arduous task of being the taskmaster of all technical matters relating to Malaysian Taxation. The T&PPC is currently comprised of a myriad of tax professionals, academicians, tax agents, lawyers and commercial tax practitioners. To assist the T&PPC in the execution of its task and duties, the Committee has instituted 5 Working Groups, the:-

	Indirect Tax Working Group Fiscal Policy Working Group Public Ruling Working Group Field Audit and Investigation Working Group Transfer Pricing Working Group

	The T&PPC has undertaken numerous papers and projects since its formation, but there is much to do. The Committee will continue to endeavor to represent the interest of the members of Institute as well as, to undertake more value added technical products for the benefit of members.
