| The Membership Affairs Department
is in-charge of processing the applications for Associate
membership. In spite of this, the department also invites
Associate Members with more than five years to apply as
Fellow Members.
The Membership Affairs Department also evaluates the
qualifications referred to by the Council before they
are enforced as the criteria for admission. The rate
of annual subscription and the admission fee are reviewed
and may be altered by the department if deemed appropriate.
All in all, this department serves Malaysian Institute
of Taxation's objective of providing people with the
interest in taxation or tax professional an organization
which safeguards their interests.
